FLY PUMP provide solar pump to African ,help them to solve Water use issues for herders’ pastures

Release time:2024-08-07

At dawn, African herders go to graze before the sun rises as usual. In the quiet morning light, herders drive herds of livestock out of the pens.

Some challenges encountered by herders in the process of raising livestock have been solved. Previously,

due to the long drought, herders had to take their livestock far away from Nakolingomo Village to graze,

so the risk of conflict caused by water resources was high. Later,

the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) built a reservoir with a water storage capacity of 30,000 cubic meters with financial support from the African Development Bank,

and installed many solar water pumps provided by China FLY PUMP.

The herders said: "Now, we no longer have to look for places with water to graze, because our own water is enough."

The water pump is mainly powered by two solar panels, which can continuously pump water from the reservoir,

and herders no longer have to go to the river to fetch water. As they used a water pipe to drain water into the trough,

they said: "With the solar water pump, everything is easy.

We can use the solar water pump to pump clean water into the trough for the livestock to drink."

With clean water, livestock are less likely to get sick, which is a matter of great concern to people who make a living by raising livestock.
